Pastor Hector Sharpeta graduated from Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, MI, in 1975. After graduating, he pastured Fellowship Baptist Church in Luther MI. Pastor Sharpeta has been in the pastorate for 29 years pasturing five Independent Baptist Churches in that time span. Pastor & Mrs. Sharpeta have been married for 40 years and are the parents of eight children, and presently have 22 grandchildren.
